The popularity of superstar Salman Khan has outgrown expectations in recent times. While he always enjoyed unconditional fan following, in the past few years the craze around him has multiplied. And Salman learnt this the hard way through a firsthand experience.

He had recently been to Hyderabad to attend a CCL (Celebrity Cricket League) match between his brother Sohail Khan's team Mumbai Heroes and the Telugu Warriors that was held at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium. After the match got over, Salman headed to the parking lot towards his car to drive to the hotel.

But his journey till the hotel was not an easy one as crazy fans followed him on their vehicles despite the police making every effort to stop them. Nearly forty bikers followed Salman's car till his hotel.

On the way, the situation got quite tensed as the bikers took several risks to get near his car and even knocked the window a couple of times. Salman was very concerned for the lives of the fans as they had badly risked it just to chase him.

Now this is what we call fan 'following'.
