Aadesh Shrivastava passed away on September 5, 2015 in Mumbai at the age of 49. Singer-composer Aadesh was admitted to hospital for over 40 days after his third relapse of blood cancer. He is survived by his wife and their two sons.

Just a day after the news of him being critical broke, his wife had stated that the doctors had given up on him. The family was about to shift him to North India for an ayurvedic treatment was reported few days ago.

His last work in the industry is 'Welcome Back' which has just hit the screens.
