Yesteryear leading heroine Aamani, who made waves in the 1990s with movies such as Shuba Lagnam, Mr Pellam, Maavichiguru and Shubashankalpam, bid adieu to acting after she entered wedlock. 

And now, the actress is all set to make a comeback on the big screen.Aamani was last seen in Aa Naluguru as Rajendra Prasad's wife in 2004. 

If sources are to be believed, Aamani is doing an important character in a devotional film titled Devasthanam, which is to be directed by Janardhan Maharshi. This movie also features K Vishwanath and S P Balasubramaniam in the lead. 

Veenapani is scoring music for this flick. Devasthanam will formally be started in the first week of October at a prominent temple in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
