The Diwali release 'Thugs of Hindostan' featuring two legends of Bollywood Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan was a film made on a grand scale and even managed to get the desired opening. However, this Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial got to see the download slope from its collection, as the audience's angry reaction all over the Internet went trending and strong negative word of mouth broke the collection of the film.
The 300 cr plus film hasn't even managed to cross the 150 cr mark at the box-office with 2 weeks passed. While it is obvious that the director who has written and directed this piece is to be blamed on. Although in a recent Interview when Aamir was asked about the film's failure, he took the responsibility on himself and apologized.
Speaking out boldly, Aamir said,"I would like to say that I take full responsibility for Thugs Of Hindostan not working with the audience." Moreover, the 'PK' actor further added that the film's team had put in their best efforts for this period film, "I think we went wrong. I would like to take full responsibility for that. You can be sure we tried our level best." Talking about the audience reaction, Aamir concluded saying, "I feel an audience is free to say what they want to say about the film. What I can say is that we certainly tried our level best."
