The first song 'Prem Mein Tohre' from the film 'Begum Jaan' turned out to be a big hit with Asha Bhosle's voice. Now the makers have come up with another track titled as 'Aazaadiyan' which shows the dark truth of Independence. Vidya Balan shared the song on her Twitter handle by tweeting, "@sonunigam @rfakofficial @the_anumalik @kausarmunir create magic! Watch #Aazaadiyan."

The song brings the two music legends from the wither sides of the border Sonu Nigam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. It shows the time when the partition took place between India and Pakistan thereby making many people homeless and leading to a mass migration.

The song also questions the situation and goes with it very well. Begum Jaan Vidya Balan is also seen with her brothel members as she is all set to fight for her home. The song ends with a powerful dialogue by Vidya 'Do mulk milkar Azaadi Azaadi khel rahe hai, isliye hume apna ghar chodna padega.' The lyrics of the song are penned by Kausar Munir and depicts the situation very well. While the music is composed by Anu Malik.

'Begum Jaan' also starring Gauhar Khan, Ila Arun, Naseeruddin Shah and many others in pivotal roles is all set for a release on April 14, 2017.
