Abbas-Mustan keep up their 'Dostana' with Abhishek & John

Abbas-Mustan playing perfect friends for Abhishek and John, when they refused to helm a film without their friends in the lead.
The talked about film is the Hindi remake of South Indian hit 'Vettai' that has been in the news for a while now.
UTV, which had bought the rights had approached Abhishek & John to lead the film while Abbas-Mustan were offered to direct the same.
But things didn't go as planned and UTV sold the rights of the film to Karan Johar's Dharma Productions; where now the plans to revive the film are worked out.
We hear the team at Dharma is planning to replace Abhishek and John as the leads and Abbas-Mustan too were likely to be replaced.
However, Abbas-Mustan who are true friends, claimed that if Abhishek and John are replaced they won't be interested in directing the film.
Looks like they have laid their conditions and from hereafter it's their way or the highway.
