ABCD 2 celebrates 'U' certification

9th June 2015

Varun Dhawan-Shraddha Kapoor starrer, 'ABCD 2' has successfully cleared the examination of Censor Board of Film Certification which is all set to hit the screens on June 19.

The film has been given a 'U' certificate except that the board highlighted a derogatory line used in the film, All Indians are beggars and the line has been asked to remove.

The makers have removed the line leaving rest of the scenes untouched. The dance flick is being promoted religiously and the team along with director Remo D'Souza are much excited about its release.

Though Remo seemed pleased with the certification, he isn't happy with the release date. He said, "I was in Dubai this week. They're happy that our film opens on June 18 in Dubai. However I am yet to convince my producers to release the film on June 18 instead of June 19 in India. My Indian Muslim friends are not too happy with this release date as the holy month of Ramzan starts on this date."
