Filmmaker Gauri Shinde, who made her directorial debut with the film, 'English Vinglish' is being eagerly awaited for her next film.

However, now Gauri has been down with a partial slipped disc. The filmmaker is yet to do her casting for the film.

Gauri Shinde directed 'English Vinglish' which starred Sridevi and Adil Hussain in the lead. The protagonist played by Sridevi was inspired by Shinde's mother and the story revolved around the self respect of a house wife.
