The nation crooned to their tunes when they set the screen on fire together as a gay couple in their film 'Dostana'. From there on, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham became thick friends and till date are extremely fond of each other. Post the film's success, the friendship continued to grow by leaps and bounds and today it is evident by the fact that the two are now planning to star together in films.

Both, John and Abhishek, now want to take their on-screen compatibility ahead by planning films that will star them as leads. Both are reading scripts, consulting the biggest producers and directors for their future films. They even plan to come up with films with their own individual production houses and make films under their banner. The kind of films on their minds are not only comic capers and commercial films like 'Dostana' but they also plan to do some hard hitting action films, along with some serious drama flicks.

Hopefully this 'Dostana' results into some quality cinema from the two, which will eventually help them in their not-so-happening careers.
