Junior Bachchan is all set to play a singer in his next film, 'All is Well' to be directed by Umesh Shukla. The character is based on Abhishek Bachchan's father's character in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 'Abhimaan'.

Umesh said, "Yes, it does seem providential that Abhishek plays a singer in my film. It gave me a chance to lip-sync songs in the film." The shooting of the film is complete and the film is expected  to release on August 21.  

Forty years back, Amitabh Bachchan played a singer in the film Abhimaan followed by Rakesh Kumar's 'Yaarana' eight years later.
