Mahesh Bhatt finalises his evil rather corrupt Godman for 'Sadak 2'. The filmmaker has zeroed down on versatile actor Makarand Deshpande to play antagonist in his directorial comeback for silver screen. The actor has already started prepping for the role by attending workshops with the director. 

Makarand was recently seen in Vidyut Jammwal's 'Junglee' based on animal poaching racket. 

Also will be seen in a grey role would be actor Gulshan Grover. Bhatt's this official announcement created a lot of buzz among Alia Bhatt's fans. This would be Alia's first project with her father.

Sanjay Dutt who played Taxi driver in original flick, will be seen in a similar role taking Alia on her journey, where she exposes a fake guru running an ashram. 

Movie will also star Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles. It will go on floors in May 2019 and will hit the screens in March 2020.
