However if one is not so sure with any outfit the best way is to get into camouflaging certain things with the help of accessories. Thus, accessories play a very vital role in making or breaking a fashion statement on a day to day basis.

So if you are planning to get into the high fashion street the first step would be to invest in some accessories like broad belts, thin belts, costume jewelry, some chunky some very delicate, a few clutch purses and some scarves and muffs or stoles for the winter months. Remember, mix and match is a cool way to look cool and hot depending on the time and place one has to be in. For example office wear should always have minimum accessories and thin belts should be stuck to if belts are required at all. The same outfit can be paired with broad belts or a bright scarf tied around the waist or the hips for a more dramatic effect during the evening out or for informal dos.

Costume jewelry should be worn with a sensible touch too. Stick to either the neck piece or the earrings. Going for both at the same time can give one a gawky look making it nothing less than a fashion faux pas.
