Adele will not attend the Skyfall premiere as she "can't bear" to be away from her son.
The British singer provides the soundtrack for the latest James Bond movie, which will enjoy a royal premiere at the Royal Albert Hall in London, UK, tomorrow.
Adele and her partner Simon Konecki confirmed they had welcomed a son into the world on Saturday and being with her new baby is the star's priority.
"Adele doesn't want to leave her little boy's side, it's as simple as that. Right through her pregnancy she's been practically a shut-in as she wanted to look after herself and the baby," an insider told British newspaper The Sun.
"Now he's here, she can't bear heading out without him, even to hobnob with royalty."
Britain's Prince Charles and his wife the Duchess of Cornwall are due to attend tomorrow's event. Daniel Craig is reprising his role as 007, with the movie also starring Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench and Naomie Harris.
Although 24-year-old Adele is enjoying the first flushes on motherhood, it's been reported not everyone is happy for her.
According to the newspaper, a number of Twitter users have posted threatening messages about the new arrival. Some have claimed they want the baby to come to harm, while others have suggested Adele will be overcome with postnatal depression.
