Adele's boyfriend Simon Konecki is apparently planning on popping the question.

The 24-year-old singer announced last week that she and the non-profit CEO are expecting their first child.

But now that the divorced 38-year-old is expecting a baby with the superstar singer, he is intending to make their relationship official.

"He was planning to propose anyway," a source told Us Weekly but is now making sure it is sooner rather than later.

A friend said the Rolling In The Deep songstress "wants a low-key affair where her mother gives her away."

Adele is reportedly going to spend thousands of dollars renovation her home in Sussex, England ahead of her baby's arrival to make sure everything is perfect for her bundle of joy.
