With the increasing importance of baddies in films, importing a villain seems like the new trend.

Adithya, a famous Kannada star will be playing the villain in Simbu’s upcoming venture 'Vaalu'.

"Yes, I have signed the film and will start shooting for it from next week in Hyderabad. Bad boys seem to be in demand and it looks like playing the baddie is the in thing right now," says Adithya, who is thrilled to be a part of the film.

Sudeep (also a Kannada star), who played the antagonist in 'Naan Ee', received rave reviews for his performance.

Looks like Kannada heroes have a knack in playing negative roles.
