Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari's father, Ehsaan Hydari passed away on Monday, early morning. He was suffering from lung cancer and was in his last stage of the disease.

Just two months back during the release of Aditi's film 'Murder 3', he was admitted in the hospital. The actress would juggle between her film's promotions and the hospital to be by her father's side.

Though she didn't share a very good relationship with him, Aditi was always attached to her father.

In an interview she said, "I am attached to him, but have always found the relationship difficult and have struggled with it. Strangely, just before I was dubbing for my last film, he sent me a long email as he wanted to get out everything from his system. I wrote back to him saying, 'I always wanted to build that relationship with you baba and I want you to be positive..."

His wish was to be cremated and so the proceedings took place at Shivaji Park Crematorium yesterday afternoon. The funeral was attended by the family and close friends.
