Adnan Sami: Ex Wife Demands A Share

4th January 2011

January 4, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Adnan Sami, the Pakistani singer who is well adored for his amazing music albums and his great ability to play the synthesizer almost like a sea flowing smoothly has fallen into deep trouble of late.

The talented singer has already had a brush with the authorities in India, as just a few days back his house in Oberoi Sky Garden in a suburban in Mumbai was sealed by the Government as there were some legal hassles that the singer had fallen into with the FEMA or the Foreign Exchange Management Rules in India.

Merely had the news about his entire property being confiscated sunk in, that there was another disastrous episode in the singers life.

Reports are that it was on Sunday, the 2nd of January afternoon around 12.30 pm that Adnan Sami and his wife Roya was enjoying a quiet brunch when there was a rude pounding on the door. To the singers dismay it was his ex wife Sabah Galadari who had come with her lawyer and she wanted her share in the property. However, reports doing the rounds are that since Adnan Samis property had been confiscated by the Government of India he was in no position to allow his ex wife to enter the premises and ask for her share.

Earlier too, sometime in June 2010 when his ex wife had asked to be allowed to live in the 13 and 14th floor of the apartment in Oberoi Sky Garden, there had been a notice from the court that Sabah would not be allowed to live there.

However, she was allowed to live on the 12th floor in the premises or go to Adnan Samis old house in Ankita Apartments if she so desired.
