It seems that controversies refuse to die for Saif Ali Khan who is being hit by a few defaming news one after another. First, it was his ugly brawl with an NRI which was hyped as a publicity stunt for his film 'Agent Vinod' and now the film itself has been slammed with a legal notice.
The famous chartbuster 'Pyaar ki Pungi' song from the film has been making headlines and is catching up as a rage and it is the same song that has garnered a controversy for them.
The makers of the film have received a legal notice from an Iranian underground band, 'Borabax Corp' which claims that a few tunes from one of their songs have been used in the aforementioned film's number. The band members have alleged that the opening segment of the film's song 'Pyar Ki Pungi' has been copied from their track 'Soosan Khanoom' that is registered under the Copyright Act in Canada. And hence have asked the team to delete the portion from the song.
While the team has shunned any comparisons, film's actor-producer Saif Ali Khan revealed that they will certainly respond to the notice, "I’ve gone through their notice and the beginning groove is similar. But then a lot of music can sound similar. We have a legal team handling the issue", said a cautionary Saif.
Hope the woes end for them as the film's release is due this week on 23rd March 2012.
