From the past week news regarding Vinod Khanna being severely ill was doing the rounds of the internet. A picture of his straight from the hospital also went viral. While there was no confirmation about what exactly caused the actor become so frail, hospital officials have now issued a statement which says that the actor's condition is stable and that he is doing fine.

The official statement of Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital reads, "Mr. Vinod Khanna was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation hospital on Friday with severe dehydration. He is under the care of our doctors and has responded positively to the treatment and is now stable. His family thanks his well wishers for the good wishes and requests to respect their privacy."
