Blue eyed beauty of Bollywood and former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was honoured at Miss World 2014 in London.
The actress was felicitated at the 64th edition of Miss World on December 14, 2014 for her charitable work and for being the most successful Miss World so far.
She said, "I stand here overwhelmed by this honour. I thank Miss World Organization for such an incredible honour that I have received..."
She was accompanied by her husband Abhishek Bachchan, daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and mother Vrinda Rai on the stage.
She further added, "To have the opportunity to hold the title, to wear the crown with pride... that was my one time to go out there and experience beauty with a purpose...."
She was crowned as Miss World in 1994.
