The blue eyed beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was hardly recognisable as she started shooting for Omung Kumar's biopic 'Sarbjit' on the outskirts of Mumbai.

Ash will be seen playing Dalbir Kaur, Sarabjit's onscreen sister in the film. Seen in a de-glam look, she was snapped wearing a salwar-kurta with grey hair and spectacles.

The film is based on the life of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer who was convicted by Pakistan for terrorism and spying and was later sentenced to death. In April 2013 he was attacked by inmates in a Lahore prison.

Even though the film is based on Sarabjit's life, it will majorly be from his sister Dalbir's point of view. Dalbir had struggled for years to get Sarabjit out of the prison.

Even though he was declared brain dead by Central Jail Lahore on May 1, 2013, his second autopsy in India revealed that his skull broken into two and his vital organs were missing too.
