Reportedly, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been signed for Madhur Bhandarkar's ambitious project 'Heroine'. The story of the film is based on the controversial Hollywood sex icon Marilyn Monroe. Kareena Kapoor was Madhur's first choice for the film, and even the sultry actress wanted to work with Madhur given his national award winning record. But seems like not Kareena, but Aishwarya is all set to receive the award as she has signed the dotted line to be a part of the venture. However, Madhur says that there have not been any such developments and also added that 'Heroine' is not necessarily next on his cards. But gossip mongers say that Madhur wants to keep this a secret that Aish has signed the film. If it was not Aish, Madhur's third choice for the role was Katrina Kaif.
