'Pataakha' director Vishal Bhardwaj recently tweeted about a glitch he came across in our national anthem during the Mami Film Festival 2018. In the tweet, Vishal wrote "Heard our national anthem produced by @Films_Division and @MIB_India during @MumbaiFilmFest. There is a technical glitch at "Gahe Tav Jai Gaatha", seems to be a sound transfer issue. Goes off tune and hurts ear and soul. Can @MIB_India please get this rectified?"
The veteran filmmaker pleaded the Films Division and Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to rectify the glitch which he spotted. This is a great concern which most of the people present missed out on the details but the fact remains that Vishal who often scores music in his films is a master in observing this case.
On the work front, Vishal's Pataakha which was his recent release didn't do much at the box-office but earned the critical acclaim. For his next, he is coming up with a crime drama titled 'Sapna Didi', but it is halted as the lead actor Irrfan Khan is undergoing cancer treatment.
Recently, during an interview, he said that he will start working on the film next year most probably. The first day of the film festival was attended by many celebs such as Swara Bhaskar, Naseeruddin Shah, Kiran Rao and Radhika Madan among others.
