Good news for Thala fans. Ajith has completed shooting for his 50th venture 'Mankatha' and the 'Ultimate Star' of Tamil cinema is totally convinced about the way the film has taken shape.

"Mankatha has been shot a racy entertainer, throwing light on the operations of Mumbai's underworld. Ajith has played a clever and powerful kingpin of the shady industry," circles close to him say.

Produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies, 'Mankatha' is directed by Venkat Prabhu, who has 'Chennai 28', 'Goa' and 'Saroja' to his credit. The music is by Yuvanshankar Raja and a single (Vilayadu Mankatha...) from the film has already become hit.
