After Akshay Kumar's recent release 'Baby' ruled at the box office, he is all set to rule the next public holiday very soon. Akki's next 'Brothers' produced by Karan Johar will release on August 14, 2015.

Just recently it was confirmed via Yash Raj's official statement that Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Fan' has been postponed. The team has announced that due to the fact that the VFX of the film is taking a lot of time, they want to postpone the release, to give the editing team the space and time to work on the special effects. They announced this via their official twitter handle. The tweet read, "YRF's #FAN release being delayed to complete never-seen-before VFX. New date coming soon."

Reports have it that as soon as the date was vacated, film's producer Aditya Chopra called his close friend Karan Johar. Apparently, KJo was looking for an apt date for Brother's release. As Adi was aware of this, he asked Karan to occupy the date. KJo confirmed that Adi offered him to book the date for his film.

Karan tweeted, "Adi just called and asked me to release BROTHERS on the 14th of August, 2015 as FAN is postponed...gestures like this make my day special." He posted the given statement on twitter.
