(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Alex Rodriguez still has much "love" for ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz.

The baseball star, 36, and actress Cameron, 39, were dating for about a year and a half before breaking up this month.

The split was amicable and the two remain in good standing with each other.

Alex has revealed he still has feelings for his former girlfriend.

"I have a lot of love for Cameron," Alex told People magazine. "We'll always be friends."

Alex and Cameron are both getting on with their lives. Cameron is busy filming and Alex is putting a lot of effort into his sports career.

Although the pair have been seen spending time together in Miami and New York post split, they are focused on moving forward.

"They remain friends and it is amicable. They are career-minded professionals, and they continue to focus on their own priorities," a source told New York Post recently. "He has had a number of injuries and he wants to stay focused on winning a world championship."

Although the relationship went cold, the pair still share a great appreciation for one another. Cameron and Alex hold each other in high regard.
