(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Minka Kelly refused to get plastic surgery to help jumpstart her career.

The 31-year-old Charlie's Angels actress was tempted to go under the knife in the early stages of her career. Minka recalled how she was offered the opportunity to alter her features.

"I was 19. [The woman who approached me] was very seductive and said that she wanted to manage me and that I had a lot of potential," Kelly said on American television programme Late Night With David Letterman on Wednesday. "She said that she could get me a job at this doctor's office in return for plastic surgery which I would need to be a Playboy Playmate."

According to Minka's former manager, the surgical procedures that star had to undergo to become a Playboy Playmate were minor. Minka disagreed with her manager's assessment. After "about a month" she decided that the opportunity was not for her.

"All I needed was lipo, fake breasts, a few veneers and all kinds of stuff," Minka said.

"When I told her that I didn't want that, she said I would never be Playmate of the Year and I said, 'I think that's okay. I'm okay with that.' "
