(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Alexis Jordan doesn't have any crushes right now and wants to remain single.

The 19-year-old American singer is enjoying huge international success right now, although admits her hectic schedule doesn't leave much time for romance.

The songstress isn't unhappy about the situation though, as she likes her single status.

"I don't have any crush at all. I'm single at the moment and that's the way I like it," she enthused to the British edition of OK! magazine.

Alexis also took the time to discuss her friendship with fellow singer Rihanna. The stars toured Australia together, although Alexis insists there wasn't any time for partying.

"We didn't have time for that! Rihanna's very business-focused. I only see her once in a while as she is on the road a lot," added the star.

The singer, who found fame in 2006 on US reality show America's Got Talent also expressed how pleased she is not to have actually won the competition. Alexis is signed to Jay-Z's record label, and is thrilled with the direction her career has taken.

"Of course, but I never would have," she asserted, when asked if she felt like quitting after being eliminated from America's Got Talent.

"Now I'm glad I didn't win as it has allowed me to go in a new direction." (C) Cover Media
