Pretty and petite, she is the wife of the famous actor Nagarjuna. Yes, we are talking about Amala Akkineni, who will be returning to Tollywood almost after two decades in the movie 'Life is Beautiful' directed by Sekhar Kammula.

She became famous with the movie 'Siva' where she paired opposite Nagarjuna, who she later married in 1992. After marriage, she gave up acting and settled to become a housewife. The couple have a son named Akhil.

Amala kept herself busy with Blue Cross where she takes care of stray animals and also engaged in a lot of social service activities.

She decided to accept this offer, as Sekhar is known for making subtle stories likes 'Anand', 'Godavari', 'Happy Days' and 'Leader' in the recent past.

Recently, an audio function of the movie was held where the entire cast and crew along with a few others graced the event.
