After Kareena Kapoor's impending marriage with her beau Saif Ali Khan made her lose Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela', there have been many names linked to the project. 

The film that is apparently based on William Shakespeare's 'Romeo & Juliet' starring Ranveer Singh in lead was apparently offered to Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif as well. 

However, we hear that despite of being interested in the offer, Katrina couldn't sign the film due to the lack of dates. Priyanka's name has reportedly been ruled out for reasons unknown. And now we hear that leggy lass Deepika Padukone has bagged the offer. 

Padukone, who is riding high on the success of her recently released film 'Cocktail' was more than happy when she was offered the film and is ready to allot the required dates without any fuss. This has come as a huge relief for Sanjay who was keen on signing an 'A' list actress for his film. And looks like he has finally found his 'Juliet'. 

An official announcement however is yet to be made.
