The film featured her in the controversial role of a married girl falling in love with her father-in-law. The role fetched criticisms as she was opposed for having performed that role. The actress later made it on top of charts with her spellbinding performance in 'Myna'. Now she has become the popular actress with a league of big tickets lined up. The actress in her recent interview mentioned that she loves partying and doesn't wait for the weekends and yearns partying every day. Soon as the interview was published in some of the newspapers, the members of Hindu Community have objected her saying that she is spoiling the young girls in Tamil Nadu as partying isn't something as a part of Tamil Culture. They have warned her not to make such statements in mere future or else serious actions will be taken against her.
