Now that it is clear that it is neither Trisha nor Anushka who will play the female lead in 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirumalle Chettu', a multistarrer which has Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu in the lead roles, rumours say that Amala Paul has been roped in as the lead actress.
Amala Paul, who made it big in Kollywood with films like 'Mynaa' and 'Deiva Thirumagal', made a big ticket entry into Tollywood with 'Bejawada' produced by Ram Gopal Varma, which had Naga Chaitanya as protagonist.
'The actress was recently approached to play the leading lady of 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirumalle Chettu. She was happy to bag the offer and expressed her consent to be part of the project,' sources say.
While Amala Paul will romance Venkatesh in this film, a search is on for another heroine, who will share the screen space with Mahesh Babu. As per rumours Samantha Prabhu and Ileana D'cruz have been approaced by the producers of the film.
