(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Amber Rose refuses to "crawl up in a corner and die" because she isn't dating Kanye West anymore.

The American model enjoyed a high-profile relationship with the rapper from 2008 until last summer.

Since splitting up with Kanye, the stunning star has found herself on the receiving end of some lucrative offers including a vintage sunglasses business and a talk show on Sirius XM satellite radio. Amber is also paid to attend events across the globe.

The blonde-haired beauty insists she is enjoying every opportunity that presents itself in the wake of her split from the popular American artist.

"I'm going to ride with it. People are like, Oh she was with Kanye and now she's getting her own show...' Well, what am I supposed to do? Crawl up in a corner and die cause I'm not with Kanye anymore? Am I supposed to go back to the strip club and not take these opportunities that I have? I'm supposed to take them," she explained in an interview with Vibe magazine.

Amber insists she is shocked at her rags-to-riches story. The 28-year-old star says that despite not ever considering fame, she's now reaping the benefits of being in the public eye.

"People all around the world pay me to come and chill with them at parties. I really get paid a lot of money to do that. It's mind-boggling," she said. "When me and Kanye fell in love, I never thought I'd be famous. I never heard of that before: A girl dates a guy and she becomes famous all around the world. I never thought that could happen. I think God just knew everything that I had been through in my life and He felt like I deserved this." (C) Cover Media
