Megastar, Amitabh Bachchan and wife, Jaya Bachchan complete 42 years of their marriage today. The couple has also been part of silver screen in many films.

Big B, being nostalgic on this auspicious day looks back and took to twitter posting a sepia photograph of himself and his wife in merry mood.  

The two took wedding vows on June 3, 1973 in a traditional wedding style.  

Proud parents to son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter, Shweta, Jaya and Amitabh also welcomed actress Aishwarya Rai to their family eight years ago now, they are proud to be the grandparents to the adorable Aaradhya Bachchan.
