Seems like Big B has taken a leaf out of bahu Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's book. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has acted in a number of Hollywood flicks including , the famous franchise "The Pink Panther" where she played the movie's main villian alongside ,actor Steve Martin.

There has been much hullabaloo over Amitabh Bachchan’s small cameo in Hollywood film "The Great Gatsby" which will be directed by Baz Luhrmann. The film has a starcast of Hollywood biggies like Leonardo Di Caprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan. In the film Amitabh plays a Jewish mafia called ‘Meyer Wolfsheim’. Amitabh claimed that he has done this film as a goodwill gesture and hasn’t charged a penny for the film, “I have done it as a gesture of friendship for Baz, I didn’t even charge for it,” said Big B.

However Amitabh revealed that though he is there in the film for just one scene but yet the kind of effort put in by every star is breathtaking. He confessed that he was actually stumped by the way the superstars took an initiative to rehearse with him. "Everyone is so disciplined and cooperative. Tobey and Leonardo would come down to rehearse my lines with me and for an over the shoulder shot, stand next to the camera and give cues." revealed Big B.

"It's amazing that the detailing and diligence and research that goes into the project" added Amitabh.
