With every passing day, Bollywood actors are breaking the stereotypes and winning their golden tickets to Hollywood. Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Irrfan Khan, Dev Patel, Frieda Pinto, Pankaj Tripathi, to name a few, are examples of Indian actors who are making leaps in La-La Land.
Not only are they part of big projects but also have grabbed meatier roles in all the flicks they took up. Joining the bandwagon is actor Prashantt Guptha, who recently bagged a lead role in a Hollywood film, 'A New Christmas'.
While Prashantt Guptha, who hails from New York and has charmed the B-townies and Bollywood lovers with his stellar performances in films like 'Neerja', 'Issaq', 'Ek Vivaah... Aisa Bhi', etc. and also has many short films to his credits. He is now all set to star in 'A New Christmas' which he calls a 'home-call' experience.
Sharing about his excitement of being the first Indian actor to be cast as a lead in a Hollywood Christmas movie, Prashantt Guptha says, "Christmas is Universal."
On the other hand, notable actor Pankaj Tripathi has joined cast of Chris Hemsworth’s upcoming film, Dhaka and will soon be flying to Bangkok to start the shoot.
Prashantt claims anything is possible for Pankaj Tripathi, he is a 'Ishwar-ka-banda'! As they are working in a movie together, Prashantt is excited all the more because neither would have imagined Hollywood calling.
