With his comeback venture 'Ammavin Kaipesi', directed by Thangar Bachan, getting ready to hit the screens, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj is brimming with hope and enthusiasm. He is also confident about this film as his latest romantic flick. 

"The film will surely impress the audiences. Thangar Bachan has brought out the best in me", says the young actor, who celebrated his 26th birthday last weekend. He will star alongside Inya in this upcoming film.

Shanthanu has also signed a new project titled, 'Vaamai', which he says will be an entertainer with a difference. "The shooting will start next month", adds the actor.

Son of popular actor-director K. Bhagyaraj, Shanthanu started his career as an actor with 'Sakkarakatti'. He later followed it up with films such as 'Aayiram Vilakku' and 'Sidhu Plus Two'.
