(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Andrew Garfield reportedly spent an entire day having an intimate part of his Spider-Man costume fitted.

Earlier this year it was announced 27-year-old Andrew has been cast as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the 2012 reboot of the franchise, which will also star Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans.

The athletic star will be putting his previous experience as a gymnast into action for the role, and will don a tight-fitting superhero suit. The film is currently in pre-production and Andrew has been getting fitted for his costume, with plenty of detail being paid to every part of his body.

According to rumours, an entire day was spent to ensure there are no inappropriate bulges when Andrew dons the famous superhero suit once shooting begins.

"One whole day was devoted to make sure there was nothing inappropriate showing in the crotch area of the suit, revealed a source. Andrew should be flattered that it took so long to get that part right!

The handsome star has already had numerous fittings for the costume, which is apparently boasts a very high-tech design. (C) Cover Media
