Music magnate Bhushan Kumar got composer Jeet Gannguli to compose a special song 'Mere Papa' for his father, late Gulshan Kumar last year.

In the recent past bollywood singer Tulsi Kumar sung the song at an event and everyone poured their heart out by listening to the music and emotional lyrics which are penned by Lyricist Manoj Muntashir. This was the time when she decided to make a music video along with their sister Khushali Kumar to pay homage to their father.

The video will be launched by actor Anil Kapoor and his daughter Sonam Kapoor at an event in Mumbai on April 1, 2016. There is a special bond between the two families Kapoor and Kumars as Tulsi, Khushali and Sonam went to the same school and Anil knows Gulshan for many years.

An excited Tulsi tweeted, "So, who all are coming? #MerePapa #SongLaunch #Soexcited 🎵❤️@KhushaliKumar @TSeries @sonamakapoor @AnilKapoor."

Tulsi says, "I was my Papa's favourite. When I went to the studio to record the track, I got extremely emotional."

Khushali adds, "When I heard Tulsi rehearsing the song before her performance, I couldn't control my emotions. I am sure every child and father will relate to this track. Our father dedicated his life to music. He would always say that music is a strong medium to express your feelings."
