Anil Kapoor is set to star opposite his bhatija Arjun Kapoor for the first time in Anees Bazmee's 'Mubarakan.' The film went on floors and the crew has started shooting for the first schedule of the film, the mahurat for which was attended by both Anil and Arjun. Anil and Arjun were both on a chariot dancing on the local desi dhol beats.

While talking to a leading daily Anil said, "It's a very emotional moment for me as this is the first time I am working with Arjun and I wanted to be by his side on the mahurat day. He was quite surprised when I entered his room. He will start shooting from Thursday while I will join them in January for a song sequence in Mumbai and will head to London by the month-end to shoot other portions."

The film basically revolves around an extended Punjabi family who meet at a destination wedding in Europe. It is produced by Sneha Rajani, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde.
