The ‘Slumdog’ star is all set to rub shoulders with Hollywood beauty Kirsten Dunst and actor Orlando Bloom.
Bollywood’s true international star Anil Kapoor is all geared up to share the screen space with Kirsten Dunst and actor Orlando Bloom. Kapoor has joined the cast of Clive Owen’s new movie ‘Cities.’ The movie to be also produced by Matthew Metcalfe and Chris Curling will commence the shooting from early November and will be shot at multiple locations including London, New York and Mumbai.
The film is about greed and ambition that takes place in the exuberant months leading up to the all-time stock market high. In New York, a hedge fund manager (played by Owen) has everything he wants —money, sex and power but he wants more. In London, a young couple wants to buy their first home, but it seems impossibly out of reach. In Mumbai, a cop fights against corruption between property speculators and his villainous colleague Seth (played by Anil Kapoor). The three stories will all collide in a world where the fortunes of individuals are interwoven with the lives of others across the globe. Directed by Roger Donaldson, ‘Cities’ will be launched at the upcoming Cannes film festival’s market.
It may be recollected that after the stupendous success of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, Anil Kapoor seems to have become a favorite among the Hollywood filmmakers. First it was ‘24’ an American television series produced by the Fox Network followed by his role in the upcoming movie ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ starring Tom Cruise and now it is ‘Cities’ along with Kirsten Dunst, Clive Owen and Orlando Bloom.
Looks like ‘Mr.India’ has a long way to go in Hollywood!
