The year 2016 is memorable in many ways as it witnessed some of the historic moments in the world history. Be it in the form of Surgical strikes made on Pakistan or the ban on Pakistani actors to work in Hindi films. One such historic incident is the ban on currency of denomination of Rs. 500 and Rs.1000. November 8 was the D-day on which Mr. PM Narendra Modi announced that the notes of the said denomination will be invalid right from the mid-night and new currency notes of denomination of Rs. 2000 and Rs. 500 will be issued.

As this decision turned the entire system topsy-turvy common people were the most to suffer the cash crunch. But unlike common people celebrities too faced cash problems and some of them were even seen standing in the long queues outside the ATM's.

The Jhakaas actor Anil Kapoor was also spotted queuing outside an ATM and was happily taking selfies with the fans. He posted a picture with his fans on his twitter handle and captioned it as, "Taking selfies in an ATM line: check ✅ Thanks to #DeMonetisation, I get to meet you lovely people @apoorva_m1!."
