(Cover) - EN Star Style - Anne Hathaway is happy to change her body shape for movie roles.
The 28-year-old actress is known for her slender frame, although she would gladly pile on the pounds if a film role required her to do so.
Anne appears in this years hit romantic drama Love and Other Drugs alongside Hollywood hunk Jake Gyllenhaal, where she portrays a young lady named Maggie who is suffering from the early onset of Parkinsons disease.
The star lost weight for the role after researching the side-effects of the illness, although she says if the disease had caused weight gain, she would have been happy to fill out.
When it came to deciding how the character would look I did a lot of research on the side effects the medication would have on the human body and I actually found in many cases it causes people to lose weight so that was my jumping off point for how I was going to look in the film, she told Cover Media. Had the medication caused people to gain weight, I would have gained weight and still done the nudity.
Anne has no qualms about stripping off for movies, and has been vocal about her willingness to shoot racy sex scenes. For the beautiful actress, the nude body is nothing to be embarrassed about, and she believes realistic love scenes are an integral part of any romantic film.
I think the nudity is a really essential part of the story and shows the intimacy that Jamie and Maggie feel together, and how their relationship shifts from sex into love. I think the film is a wonderful exploration of intimacy in a relationship, she added. (C) Cover Media
