December 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): There is a good news for the fans of Glee, the musical comedy-drama series in Fox. The Love and Other Drugs seductress Anne Hathaway has been almost finalized to play aunt of the gay character Kurt Hummel.
Anne has earlier expressed her desperation to be a part of the show and now its going to happen once she signs the final papers. So, it would be like a dream come true for the actress, who is set to co-host the Academy Award event this year. Along with Anne, veteran actress Julie Andrews is also going to be a part of the show as a guest star. Both of them are still negotiating with the show makers.
Julie is being considered to play the grandmother of Kurt, who is played by Chris Colfer. The storyline for their sequence has been worked out and Anne is also ready with the song she will be seen crooning.
The 28 year old Hollywood actress said that she has always dreamt of being in Glee and she knows well the song she will sing. She will also play a gay in the show who will help Kurt understand that he is not the only one with this kind of sexuality. She will help him to deal with his sexuality. Anne said that she would sing the track You Are Not Alone from the epic show Into the Woods.
Anne and Julie Andrews have earlier worked together in The Princess Diaries, so we can expect to see an exceptional chemistry between them.
