Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's 2002 hit-and-run case has taken a new turn in recent times. According to the reports, the session court has directed the Mumbai police to record the statements of three additional witnesses.
Special Public prosecutor Pradeep Gharat stated the following to confirm this new twist in case.
"The court directed the police to record the statements of a Road Transport Office inspector and two police constables."
On 28 September, 2002, Salman was arrested for rash driving, which killed one and injured four. The case is now on the fast trial as the judge's panel want it to end soon, as it has already been going on for 13 years
