One more film award to Kannada filmdom. There are already several awards given by various institutions. To this list is Big FM entertainment awards. The specialty of this is the awards are simultaneously given to sports and achievers of other fields. Big FM a part of Reliance Group on Monday morning announced the awards with the RJ's of the channel. The awards include best entertainer of the year, director, best character artist – male and female, best actor, actress music director, singer, lyric and villain of the year. The awards are also given in the dance and theatre. In the last year Big FM has instituted awards for television too. The awards presentation will be premiered on the Ugadi day in April in ETV Kannada. All the awards are in the popular category. The jury consists of Master Hirannaiah, actor Prayanaraja Srinath and dance exponent Padmini Ravi.
