KCA separate identity at Vishwa Kannada Sammelana!

The Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy headed by T.S.Nagabharana has showed how distinct it is. On 8th March the film festival in Belgaum and surroundings with 108 films was inaugurated with their own members. The week long Kannada classics film festival that was given a start is the brainchild of TS Nagabharana. At Belgaum and Nippani the film festival was flagged off.
The chairman of KCA a government owned body without consulting the Kannada film industry made its own arrangement. It was successful in getting a sanction of Rs.20 lakhs from the government of Karnataka.
For the one and half an hour cultural feast at the inaugural of Vishwa Kannada Sammelana on 11th March at 8 pm to 9.30 pm the sanction is just Rs.30 lakhs. Rs.7.5 lakhs is given to the Karnataka television Association for one hour program.
