Veteran actor, Anupam Kher, who is currently in Malaysia for IIFA 2015 revealed that he was bankrupt and therefore, he opened an acting school in the name, The Actor Prepares.

He faced bankruptcy eleven years back and he plans to discuss with Malaysian government to build such a school in the country.

He said, "I was failed in all other aspects of filmmaking and was bankrupt completely because my dreams were higher than realities. So, I started my acting school in a small room with twelve students, to prepare future actors and actresses. I will request the Malaysian government to also build an acting school here as it will help to produce a profession."

The 60 years old actor has recently completed thirty one years in the 'Hindi film industry' words which he would like to use instead of 'Bollywood' and equally, he also made a mark in International diaspora.
