Filmmaker Anurag Basu's last release 'Jagga Jasoos' was received by critics and audience moderately. His next so far an untitled film has already booked its release date.

Starring an ensemble cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Pankaj Tripathi. The movie will release on January 24, 2020, blocking the Republic day week of the upcoming year. 

Movie has already gone on floors in Kolkata. Nothing much has been revealed about this action-comedy whereas it is confirmed that this venture won't be a sequel to his hit flick 'Life In A Metro'.

Producer Bhushan Kumar confirmed it in his tweet, "Our action packed comedy co-produced with @basuanurag will now release on 24th Jan 2020, starring @juniorbachchan #AdityaRoyKapur @RajkummarRao @fattysanashaikh @sanyamalhotra07 and @TripathiiPankaj! @TSeries @tanibasu @iamDivyaKhosla #KrishanKumar"

This untitled flick is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Anurag Basu, Tani Somarita Basu and Krishan Kumar.
