In a bizarre incident that took place recently, Anushka Shetty, the well known actress from the South was bit by a dog at a party that was held in Chennai. Following this, the doctor has advised her to take bed rest for a few days.

According to sources, the party was organised to celebrate the successful completion of the shooting schedule in Georgia for director Selvaraghavan's movie 'Brindavanam Lo Nandakumarudu' in Telugu and 'Irandam Ulagam' in Tamil.

Sources added, "During the party, a dog, which accompanied one of the invitees, tried to eat a issue paper and when Anushka was preventing it, the dog suddenly bit her."

Currently, the actress is busy shooting for a few films in Telugu and Tamil which includes some very important ones, and she will be resuming work the next week for the same.
